Music Ministries

Music is an important ministry at Bethesda, enriching our worship experiences and providing opportunities for fellowship and Christian education for those who participate in the music programs.

Adult Choir

 

The Adult Choir leads our music during worship services from September through May.  The Choir sings at both the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services on Sunday, leaving after the anthem during second service.  The Adult Choir practices at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.  Choir members are enriched by the fellowship enjoyed by the group.

Choir + Plus 2018-2019
Children in 5K- 7th grade are divided into two groups by age and grade. They learn vocal and music skills using songs and hymns based on scripture and Christian tradition. They gain a greater understanding of God's word and their own ability to contribute to the life and worship of the church. The choirs sing in church on some Sundays throughout the school year and participate in a musical production each semester.  Snack fee for the year is $10 for one child and $5 for each additional child from the same family.

Younger Choir Plus (5K-3rd):  3:15 – 4:15 PM
Older Choir Plus (4th-7th):     4:30 – 5:30 PM
Upper Choir (8th and up):      5:30-6:15PM

Adult Handbell Choir

Our Adult Handbell Choir is newly-reorganized.  The choir plays at several worship services during the year.  If you would like more information or are interested in joining, please contact Bo Dickinson, Music Director, through the church office.
