Choir + Plus 2020-2021

Children in 5K- 8th grade are divided into three groups by age and grade. They learn vocal and music skills using songs and hymns based on scripture and Christian tradition. They gain a greater understanding of God's word and their own ability to contribute to the life and worship of the church. The choirs sing in church on some Sundays throughout the school year and participate in a musical production each semester.  Middle School Music will include handbells, singing, music reading skills, and other instruments. Snack fee for the year is $10 for one child and $5 for each additional child from the same family.

Children from 3K-12th grade are divided into five groups by age and grade.  Each week this Christ-centered program integrates spiritual and personal development to help boys and girls build healthy relationships with adults, peers and, most importantly, Christ. Weekly Bible study, meaningful Scripture memory, and fun life-skills activities make each meeting memorable and full of variety.  Many people describe it as “like VBS but during the school year”! Supply fee is $25 per child with a $60 family max (fee helps to cover club shirt, handbook, badges, materials, special events).

Older Pioneers (4th-12th)    3:15-4:30 PM

Pioneer Club Calendar 2019-2020

For Both Choir+Plus & Pioneers Club

Your child does not have to participate in both of the programs, but can do so if they are in 5K – 12th grade.  If so, they can participate in both programs from 3:15-6:00 pm. For our children’s safety, the playground will be supervised for early drop-offs beginning at 2:30 pm. After-school bus pick up is available from nearby schools. The Church bus will pick up children whose parents have indicated they want transportation. We must have your signature on the registration form in order to pick up your child from school.  In addition, the school needs a written note from you giving permission for this to happen. PLEASE CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE ON WEDNESDAY MORNING IF YOUR CHILD WILL NOT RIDE THE BUS THAT DAY. Otherwise, the bus will stay at the school waiting for your child and this causes delays, worries and confusion.Registration will be open for the month of August, and the programs will be on Wednesdays -- starting September 5th.

Please print, complete, & return the appropriate registration forms and supply fees to the Bethesda church office during the month of August.
